What is Visionary Voices?
Visionary Voices is a worldwide competition where young creators use AI to explore new creative concepts and possibilities.
Who can enter
Visionary Voices provides a global stage for 14 to 18 year olds, of all levels of AI experience, to showcase their creativity.
The selection
Submissions are reviewed by industry professionals, and winners are chosen based on the strength of the idea, intentional use of AI, overall quality of the final work, clarity of the concept, and a willingness to explore and experiment.
The philosophy
This is a space for young people to explore the future of AI-enabled creativity. This contest is not about replacing the human imagination; it’s about how we can use AI to push the limits of creative expression.
The challenge
Using AI, participants will compete to develop a unique image or video under various categories that reflect imagination and visionary thinking.

Who can enter?
14- to 18-year-olds around the world who are ready to explore, experiment, and create — no matter your experience level.
What do I submit?
For each entry, you can submit up to five images and/or one video under 60 seconds — plus a short “Your Process” write-up explaining how AI helped you get to your final work.
Does my submission need to include AI, and can it be fully AI-generated?
Yes to both. Your work can be fully AI-generated, partially AI-generated, or AI-assisted in unexpected ways. What matters most is how you use the tools — your ideas, your creative direction, and how you push the concept somewhere interesting. We encourage you to experiment, combine tools, mix mediums, and explore approaches that feel new, surprising, or personal.
Do I have to use specific AI tools? Do they cost money?
You can use any AI tools you want. Some are free, some have free trials, some offer student discounts, and others are paid.
What are the prizes?
We have prize packages for winners in each of the five categories. There are 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for Still, Motion, Product, Fashion, and Robotics (15 total category winners).
Prizes include high-performance HP Laptops, Ray-Ban Meta Glasses, and 1-year Adobe Creative Cloud and YouTube Premium subscriptions. Top winners also receive a SCAD Summer Program experience with up to $1,000 in flight support and personalized AI Mentorship from industry professionals. In addition to the category winners, early entries are eligible for monthly prize drawings in March, April, May, June, and July.
Can I submit more than once?
Yes. You can submit multiple entries and compete in more than one category. Each participant may win only one 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place prize package during the competition cycle, and may also win no more than one monthly early entry prize.
What language should my entry be submitted in?
Entries should be submitted in English.
